Mountain View Vineyard Construction Update

Pocono Winery Construction Update

First things first. We are so thankful for you. You, our customers, our loyal supporters who have also become our friends. You allowed us to take a leap of faith and chase our dreams.

For us, opening a new winery in the Poconos is about so much more than putting up a building. It is about trusting God to guide us up the staircase even when we couldn’t see all of the steps ahead.

Thank You for Supporting our Dream

It’s hard to find words big enough to let you know how much we appreciate every single one of you.

You cheered us on from our groundbreaking ceremony in September, through the day we blasted the property to make way for the building and beyond.

Now, you’re getting a sneak peak inside the new winery with our Wedding and Event Coordinator, Kate.

Winery Weddings and Events

This was Kate’s first video project and she was a little nervous, so if you see her, make sure to let her know she did a great job!

Kate checks in on the construction site often and always exclaims how beautiful things are looking. She loves showing it off to engaged couples and other people who want to host special events at the winery or in the vineyard.

If you’d like to chat with her about your next event you can call  570-534-9245 or email kate@mountainviewvineyard.com.

Rustic, Elegant Pocono Wedding Venue

One of the things Kate loves the most about the property is that it is the perfect combination rustic and elegant. The venue looks like it jumped off of your Pinterest board.

We can just picture a bride standing right here with the big glass doors open to the 15-foot wide covered porch and the vineyard views in the background.

Beautiful Interior

The interior is just as pretty. In our last update, the beams were covered for protection during painting. We’re thrilled to finally have them revealed. They look even better than we imagined they would. Plus the chandeliers are the perfect fit for this look, which is a relief after all the time Linda spent searching for just the right fixtures!

Winery Fireplace

Just imagine gathering around this fireplace with friends and glasses of warm mulled wine next winter. It’s going to be super cozy! We’ll probably hang out here in the summer (and spring and fall) too just because it’s so pretty.

The Frogtown Bistro

Here’s a look inside the Frogtown Bistro’s prep kitchen. They’ll be preparing a fabulous tapas-style menu in here. Follow the Frogtown Bistro on Facebook so you can stay up-to-date with specials and events like dinner in the vineyard.

Wine Barrel Counters

The Frogtown Bistro checkout counter and the tasting room bar are both designed to look like wine barrels. Farmer Frank gave us the super-fun idea! He’s in the photo above finishing up the wood stain.

The Barrel Room

We can’t take you downstairs into the barrel room for this update because the construction team just put floors down and is finishing up the stairs. Hopefully, we’ll be able to give you a look inside there next week.

Grand Opening Weekend

May 6 & 7

We had tears in our eyes the day an excavator scooped the first shovel of dirt. We’ll probably have tears in our eyes when we open the doors to guests for our grand opening in just two weeks.

We hope to see you there. You can order tickets online.

Thank you again for all of your love and support.

Sincerely,
Linda and Randy
