Mountain View Vineyard Construction Update
We are so excited! We’re like a couple of five-year-olds waiting for Santa to arrive on Christmas Eve. This. Is. Big.
Construction on our new winery in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania is almost done! Wahoo!
Join us for a tour of the new winery in the video below or keep scrolling to check out the latest photos.
The Tasting Room
Things are really coming together in here. Contractors have the drywall up and they’ve started painting.
Can you imagine holding a wedding here with these stunning exposed beams? It’s Pinterest-perfect and exactly what modern couples are looking for in a wedding venue. We’re already booking weddings and events here. If you want to save your space on the calendar, contact Kate@mountainviewvineyard.com.
Round Barrel Bar
This is one of Randy’s favorite features in the new place. The round bar will look like an oak wine barrel when it’s finished. We can serve about 25 people here at once. We’re sure any of you who have been crowded in our current space will appreciate this new bar.
The Barrel Room
When you head downstairs (By the way, we’re thrilled we finally have stairs installed!) you’ll enter the barrel room. This is where we will make wine and eventually brew beer. It will be a great place to hold some of your smaller special events.
Take it Outside
You’ll probably want to spend as much time outside of the building as you do inside. The upper level features a wrap around porch with vineyard views on three sides. It’s 15-feet-wide so you have plenty of room to kick back and relax with your favorite beverage and a meal from The Frogtown Bistro.
The lower level will have a lovely patio area just outside the barrel room. We’ll be able to host some fun events out here!
See it for yourself!
Grand Opening May 6 & 7
We could never have done this without all of your love and support so we hope you will check the place out during our grand opening celebration next month. It’s going to be a blast with food and wine samples, live music, and the release of a new wine (Stay tuned for more details on that).
