What are your hours?

We are open 11am to 6pm daily.

(Last tasting is at 5:30 pm)

How do I get there?

You can find a map and directions from major highways on our directions page.

Can I bring children?

Children are welcome at the winery, there are games outside in the yard for them to play with as long as they are closely supervised by an adult at all times.  (Children may not sit at the bar).

Can I pack a lunch?

No outside food or beverages allowed.  Our Bistro offers a great menu. Plus, we sell cheese and crackers in the tasting room.

If you are a large group, we can offer you boxed lunches when you contact info@mountainviewvineyard.com at least 2 weeks before your visit.

Do you host weddings or parties? 

We currently host fundraisers & corporate events.  We no longer host private events on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

Do you welcome group visits?

We welcome groups. If you have a group of 8 or more You will need to please call ahead or email info@mountainviewvineyard.com. We want to be sure all of our guests have enjoyable experiences. 

There is a $3.00 per person flat fee for groups of 8 or more to be seated together with their own dedicated server. There will be a one hour limit so that we can then conduct the next group’s tasting. If your group is more than 10 minutes late, we will take the next group and the group that was late will have to wait for next opening.

Can you donate to my charity event?

We support many local charities in the Poconos.

However, we receive more than 400 requests a year. Since we are a small family-owned business, we must limit our donations to charities within Monroe County, Pennsylvania.

Charities we support must be certified 501(c)(3) non profit organizations.

To make a request, send a donation request form to info@mountainviewvineyard.com.

We evaluate requests on a case by case basis.

What does a tasting cost?

$7.00  Wine Tastings includes five (one ounce) wine samples. MVV Souvenir Wine Glass is our gift to you

$10.00 Wine Flight includes 4 (2 ounce) wine flight samples.

$7.00  Distillery Spirit Tasting includes 3 (half ounce) Spirit Tastings. MVV Souvenir Shot Glass is our gift to you 

$10.00  Beer Flight include 4 (five ounce) beer flight samples. (Randy’s Brandy Beer +$2.50 with flight)

Do I need reservations? 

We do not take reservations, however, to make sure all of our guests have enjoyable experiences, groups of 8 or more guests please call the vineyard or email info@mountainviewvineyard.com

Can I bring a pet?

Yes, we are pet-friendly.  In fact, our vineyard dogs Angel and Faith, a Chocolate Lab and German Shepard, can often be found greeting our guests as they approach the tasting room.  They sometimes visits guests as they hang out on the porch or in the picnic area.  All guest dogs must be leashed at all times as we've had guest dogs nip guests and our staff. If you are afraid of dogs, or have a dog that is not people or dog-friendly, please be advised.  Please clean up after your dog & dispose of waste in one of two pet waste stations.  Only service animals, with proper documentation, are permitted in the tasting room as we are a food establishment.  We look forward to your visit! 

Do you do tours? When?

We host tours every Saturday & Sunday at 2:00pm!

Do you have any special events?

We host special events and activities year-round.  Check out our events page to see what's happening.

Do you have bulk discounts?

Yes.  In our tasting room, we offer 5% off the purchase of 6-11 bottles of wine and 10% off the purchase of 12 or more bottles of wine.
