Frequently Asked Questions

WE DO NOT ACCEPT RESERVATIONS.  ALL OF OUR SEATING IS FIRST COME FIRST SERVED.

We have plenty of outdoor seating. Under our covered patio, under our event tent, and under the sunshine on our lawn (based on availability). Reservations are not accepted - for any size party. Tables are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Due to state regulations, we cannot accommodate groups larger than ten per table. Parties of eleven or more are required to sit at separate tables - if they are available. Large parties and party buses may be turned away.

We are required to avoid large gatherings. If we are at capacity or simply do not have the appropriate timing or staffing to serve your group, we cannot sit you.

Please check in with our hostess. We can't help you if we don't see you. The state of Pennsylvania now requires table-side service only. You must be seated by one of our team members at one of our designated tables to place your order. Depending on how busy we are a 2 hour time limit on table usage may apply. Wait times may also apply. Please be understanding! We are doing our best to accommodate everyone.

Outside chairs and blankets are not permitted.

You MUST order food. This is a Pennsylvania state requirement, not a Mountain View Vineyard requirement. Outside food and drinks are not permitted.

We offer a safe space. We have always, and will continue to thoroughly clean, sanitize, and disinfect all glassware, tables, chairs, restrooms, and other commonly touched surfaces to keep our guests and team safe. We practice all CDC and public health safety guidelines and take great pride in the cleanliness of our winery. Tables are properly distanced and it is important that our seating remains as it is set and our guests do not move tables and chairs without alerting a MVV team member first.

Plan ahead. We want you to have a SERIOUSLY FUN visit. Please be sure to call or email us prior to your visit with any questions or concerns. We are happy to help! We often have private parties under our event tent on the weekends. This means that seating may be limited on the rest of our property when these events take place.

Please be kind and please be patient. Our team has gone from Tasting Counter associates... to TO-GO service... to walk-up service... to quick service bartenders... to table-side waiters and waitresses within 8 weeks. We are adaptable, but we need our guests to be considerate and understanding of the new regulations that are out of our control.  Thank you for your continued cooperation.

Updated Pet Policy: We have just completed an enclosure for our outside deck for the season that is only accessible through the winery and the tasting room. Because dogs were only allowed on the deck and the outside seating areas during the warmer months, we are unable to accommodate dogs in the tasting room as we are also a bistro that serves food.  We look forward to your visit!

Can you donate to my charity event?

We support many local charities in the Poconos.

However, we receive more than 400 requests a year. Since we are a small family-owned business, we must limit our donations to charities within Monroe County, Pennsylvania.

Charities we support must be certified 501(c)(3) non profit organizations.
