Pocono Winery Construction Update

New Pocono Winery Construction Update

Every day, our dream gets one step closer to reality! The walls are up. The ceiling is in place. The relatively warm winter has helped the construction crews move quickly.

We have to pinch ourselves as we see the new Mountain View Vineyard winery building take shape. Join us on a tour in the video below or scroll down to check out photos.

Attention to Detail

As you drive up our long driveway, you’ll notice the attention to detail on the building. Stonework graces the exterior and beautiful cupolas peak over the roof line. If you look at the side of the winery, you can see all of the windows that will let lovely natural light into the tasting room.

A Beautiful Wedding Venue

Brides and grooms who want the rustic wedding look, are going to fall head-over-heals for the exposed wood beams inside the winery. There will be so many lovely places for your wedding photos. From right here in the tasting room, to the stone pillars out front, and of course, the vineyard itself.

A little bonus tip: Anyone who books a wedding with us gets to use the property to take their engagement photos for free. You can contact our wedding and event planner, [email protected], to book your big day!

Winery with Food

One the coolest features of the new winery is that you’ll be able to pick up some great food. The Frogtown Bistro at Mountain View Vineyard will be providing food service during tasting room hours. Plus, they will host weekend winery dinners and they’ll be our exclusive caterers for weddings and special events.

Cocktail Hour on a Covered Porch

Contractors have been installing a wrap around porch. We went BIG with this porch. It’s 15 feet wide and has an excellent view of the vineyards. It’s going to be a relaxing spot to sit back with your friends and enjoy a glass of local wine, beer, or spirits.

This will be an awesome place to host a cocktail hour or a party. We made sure it has a roof so rain won’t be a problem.

Opening This Spring

The new winery will be just about two miles down the road from the current location. It has a Stroudsburg mailing address and is located in Hamilton Township. So, if you’re looking for a winery near Stroudsburg, Tannersville, or Snydersville, we’ve got you covered!

The grand opening celebration will be some time in May. We can’t wait to see you there!

Thank you for all of your love and support on this journey.

Cheers!

Linda & Randy
