What are your hours?Mountain View Vineyard is open daily! Sunday - Thursday 11am-6pm Friday - Saturday 11am-9pm Please note: We stop selling carafes & glasses of wine, beer or cocktails 30 minutes prior to closing.

Do I need a reservation?While reservations are not required, we highly recommending making one, especially on weekends. Reservations can be made using our reservation system, Tock.

Is there a cover charge or admission?No

How do I sample the wine, beer, ad spirits?Flights are our version of tastings. Its another fun option to sample multiple MVV products for $12 from the comfort of your table available any day of the week. Wine Flight includes four, 2 oz wine samples. Beer Flight include four, 5 oz beer samples. Spirit Flight includes four, .5 oz samples.

Can I bring children?YES! Children that are closely supervised by an adult at all times are welcome. Children may not sit at the bar. Please respect the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere we provide here at Mountain View Vineyard.

Can I bring a pet?YES! Friendly pets are always welcome at the vineyard. Our vineyard dogs Angel and Faith, a Chocolate Lab and German Shepard, can often be found greeting our guests as they approach the tasting room. They sometimes visits guests as they hang out on the porch or in the picnic area. All guest dogs must be leashed at all times as we've had guest dogs nip guests and our staff. If you are afraid of dogs, or have a dog that is not people or dog-friendly, please be advised. We ask that guests clean up after their dog, and dispose of waste in one of two pet waste stations. Only service animals, with proper documentation, are permitted in the tasting room as we are a food establishment. All dogs must be leashed, dog social and vaccinated.

Can I pack a lunch?No outside food or beverages allowed. We have many food options on site.

Can I reserve a cabana?Our cabanas are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Do you host weddings or parties?We cannot host weddings, wedding receptions, or vow renewals. However, keep us in mind for your rehearsal dinner and bridal shower! We also host fundraisers and corporate events. Please email info@mountainviewvineyard.com for details.

Do you have bulk discounts?Yes. In our tasting room, we offer 5% off the purchase of 6-11 bottles of wine and 10% off the purchase of 12 or more bottles of wine.

Do you have an industry discount?Members of the wine, beer, spirit & restaurant industry. We’re open on Mondays when you have off! We know that after a long weekend, you need to relax as well. Join us every Monday for Industry Day! Stop in and show a copy of your recent paystub and enjoy 15% off your bill.

When are your tours of the winery?You can find and reserve tours on our reservation system, Tock.

Can you donate to my charity event?Mountain View Vineyards supports many local charities in the Poconos. However, we receive more than 400 requests a year. Since we are a small family-owned business, we must limit our donations to charities within Monroe County, Pennsylvania. Charities we support must be certified 501(c)(3) non profit organizations. To make a request, please complete this Donation Request Form, and email it to info@mountainviewvineyard.com We evaluate requests on a case by case basis.

Do you accept credit cards?We charge 3% sur charge for all credit card transactions (not debit cards).

Where do I sign the tour waiver?The Pennsylvania’s Agritourism Activity Protection Act requires that all guests sign a waiver before going on a tour of our vineyards. When you sign it you are agreeing to the following. AGREEMENT AND WARNING: I understand and acknowledge that, except for limited circumstances below, an agritourism activity provider is not liable for any injury to or death of a participant resulting from an agritourism activity. I understand that I have accepted all risk of injury, death, property damage and other loss that may result from an agritourism activity. I understand that an agritourism activity provider is not protected from liability if the provider: 1. Performs an act in a grossly negligent manner and causes injury or damages to a participant. 2. Purposely causes a participant’s injury. 3. Acts or fails to act in a way that constitutes criminal conduct. 4. Recklessly fails to warn or guard against a dangerous condition that causes injury or damages to a participant. A dangerous condition is a condition that creates an imminent and substantial risk of injury or damages to a participant. You can print and sign a copy here, and bring with you to your tour.
