Frequently Asked Questions

We are open 11am to 6pm Monday through Saturday and noon to 6pm on Sunday.

You can find a map and directions from major highways on our directions page.

Because wine and spirit tastings are adult activities, no one under 21 is allowed on the premises.

You are welcome to bring your own food to eat while you enjoy our wine. Due to state laws, we cannot allow any outside alcohol on our premises.

We do sell a wide variety of cheeses, dips, and snacks that you can enjoy during your visit.

At this time we do not have the space to hold events like this.

However, in May we will open a brand new building where we will be able to host your special events.

We are now booking weddings and parties for 2017.

We can accommodate small groups (of up to eight people) for tastings.

Unfortunately, our current location isn’t big enough to handle groups larger than 8 people.

We will be opening a new winery in the spring that will be four times as large as the current space. So, beginning in May we will have plenty of room for large groups!

We support many local charities in the Poconos.

However, we receive more than 400 requests a year. Since we are a small family-owned business, we must limit our donations to charities within Monroe County, Pennsylvania.

Charities we support must be certified 501(c)(3) non profit organizations.

To make a request, send a donation request form to info@mountainviewvineyard.com.

We evaluate requests on a case by case basis.

If you would like to work with us, fill out this employment application. You can drop it off at the winery, email it to info@mountainviewvineyard.com, or mail it to:

This spring we will break ground on a brand new winery building with more access. We look forward to opening later this year!
